Scandinavian shuffle 2026

HELSINKI, 13-15 February 2026

Scandinavian Shuffle is an annual balboa exchange, a weekend full of dancing balboa and exploring exciting Scandinavian cities with other international balboa enthusiasts.

We aim for

• a weekend of intense social balboa dancing

• an opportunity to (re-)connect with old and new friends

• a friendly environment where you have the time and opportunity to get to know one another

Balboa

Balboa was born in Southern California during the first half of the 20th century. Although the dance has a complex history that has not yet been fully mapped, like all swing dances, it has deep roots in the unique African-American art forms. More information here.

Your Shuffle 2026 team

The 16th Scandinavian Shuffle is hosted in the cozy yet exciting capital of Finland, Helsinki. Your hosts are local long-time dance enthusiasts and organisers, Maija and Karri, with the support of the whole Helsinki swing dance community.
