  • "Janne pushes the "swing" button on the dancing crowd, giving 20% more Lindy Shock and 30% more Smokey Feet, all from the press of a button.
When it's time for hard-driving swing, he drops the song on his attentive audience, and says,"BAM". When the bosses needs a DJ to bring the swing, they call him. No questions.

Building an atmosphere, giving content to the dance floor and, at the same time, keeping it swinging - that is what Janne aims for.

Janne has refined this skill at numerous well-known camps and dance floors in Europe (Lindy Shock, The Chase Festival, Paris Jazz Roots, Smokey Feet, Snow Ball, Ljubljana, Vilnius, Herräng, Istanbul, Berlin, Barcelona and more), in Canada (Montreal) as well as in his hometown: Gothenburg, Sweden.

  • Mokhtar began his DJ career in Gothenburg in 2018. Since then, he has performed at Gothenburg Tap Weekend, Malmö Spring Jump, and Herräng Dance Camp. Nowadays, he regularly DJs for swing dancers in Gothenburg, Lund, Malmö and Copenhagen. Mokhtar is always on the lookout for "new" and exciting tracks to play for the dancers, and he's known to be the last person standing on the dance floor, whether as a DJ or a dancer!

  • London-based Mitya has been playing music for swing dancers for 17 years. His journey with Scandinavian Shuffle began in Mariehamn, Åland, back in 2013.

Starting with small local events, he developed his swing music tastes, and his choices gained recognition in the international dance scene. Since then, he has been a staff DJ for events such as The Snowball, Herräng Dance Camp, All Balboa Weekend, Berlin Balboa Weekend, Balboa Castle Camp, and California Balboa Classic.

DJing for him is an integral part of enjoying swing dancing in general, and he loves being able to deliver his feeling of swing to inspire dancers. Nearly all of the tracks he plays are solid big band swing, which is the stuff that makes him happy on the dance floor. We hope it will make you happy, too.

  • Hailing from sunny streets of Karlstad, Sweden, Rickard honed his craft during his years in Gothenburg. Since then, he has been DJing events around Sweden and the Nordics, as well as more distant scenes, from Aichi in the East to Los Angeles in the West.

During the pandemic years, he had the honour of being a part of the Global Online Social, bringing music to scenes worldwide. Here, he beamed his music directly into people's living rooms, witnessing firsthand just how much music can unite the global dance community.

An avid social dancer, Rickard strives to play songs that offer plenty of opportunities for expression and help connect the dance to the music. Given the chance, he gladly takes dancers on a journey that lasts all the way to sunrise.

  • Gašper Hrovat is not only known for mastering the Balboa dance but also for being a hepcat and a DJ. These interests have walked hand in hand throughout his dance and musical development for the last seventeen years. "I love a riff and a beat that moves my feet. And there's always a story behind it".

For him, knowing the dance is knowing the music! Added to this, his character in pure form gives an energetic and positive boost to any dance party. He possesses a skill that lightens up the atmosphere, pushes boundaries, and inspires the spectators to join in. That kind of vibe shines, especially evident when he plays music for Balboa dancers.

Having Gašper at your event is never a sorry story, but rather an experience and an amusement to a successful event.
