Join us for the "Melody Mingle Jam" – a musical gathering where fun and social connection through music take center stage!

This isn't your typical band performance but rather an open invitation for anyone to participate, whether you're a musician or a music enthusiast. Our host band (piano, drums, and trumpet) sets the stage for an inclusive swing music jam session. Feel free to bring your own instrument or join in on vocals.

Note that this jam is about spontaneous music-making, not a band playing prepared music for dancers. Song lengths, tempo and style might vary, and there might be pauses for discussions or trials.

Please bring your own instrument if it's not piano, drums, trumpet, guitar, ukulele, saxophone or bass.

Looking for a comfortable place to mingle on a Saturday afternoon? Our daytime activity hub is open for you!

Come and enjoy afternoon tea in the beautiful rooms of Gathenhielmska Huset, the oldest wooden building in Gothenburg which was built in the 18th century.

We will be playing movies with various dance-related themes and serve free fika for our participants. From 11:00 to 14:00, the grand salon opens its doors for social dancing, creating perfect moments of connection and fun in its enchanting atmosphere.

The house can accommodate up to 70 people at the same time. In case the house is full, there is a garden house with a fireplace where you can go for a fika and enter Gathenhielmska when someone leaves.
