Step into the world of Balboa with Giedre and Camille’ in the "Connection and Phrasing" workshop.

Everything will start with the breath, and we'll see how it can deepen our connection and be a tool for musicality. Taking the time to let the music fill us and inform our frame, tones, pulsations and textures. Paying attention to phrasing by linking body breathing and musical breathing. Consider the breath as a line running through the whole song, letting it inform the lines and shapes we draw in space with our bodies and centres. Bringing in real contrasts to colour this experience that we are here to share with our partners.

Post-workshop, the dance floor at Velvet stays open for social dancing until 19:00. You can also have dinner and drinks in Velvet's cozy environment. Note that it is a cocktail, drinks and food place, not a burlesque club any more! :)

Would you like to taste a delicious Swedish winter specialty? Let me introduce you to the Semla - a sweet bun that is typically eaten during Fat Tuesday in Sweden. The bun is made with cardamom-spiced wheat, filled with almond paste and milk, and topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar. Nowadays, it can be enjoyed on its own or with coffee or tea. 

We have arranged a special experience of baking your own semla for you in rotation groups. The activity will start at 11:00, and six persons can participate at the same time. You can choose your preferred time slot when you sign up.

The activity will take place at our daytime activity hub, where you can socialise with other participants, enjoy some dancing, have a coffee break, and watch a movie. Please plan to stay for at least an hour so you can also taste the delicious Semla.

Famous for its gigantic cinnamon buns, Haga is a haven for those who adore sweets, quaint cobbled streets, and rich history. Guided by one of our local dancers, this tour is a confectionery and cultural treat. As you wander through the picturesque streets, indulge in the famous fika and an array of delightful sweets, each with its own story.
